About the Role
We are looking for a developer who is primarily skilled in PHP, Javascript, HTML5 and CSS3 with 5+ years of solid experience behind them.
Key Responsibilities
- Feature Development: Lead the ongoing development of new features and functionalities for our web applications, ensuring all code is written in PHP according to best practices and coding standards.
- PHP Version Management: Stay updated on the latest developments in PHP, including the upcoming upgrade to version 8.x.
- Database Management: Utilize your expertise in PostgreSQL to design, optimize, and maintain database schemas, queries, and performance.
- Knowledge in Perl: While primarily focused on PHP development, be capable of reading and understanding Perl scripts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Leverage your knowledge of Python and Spark to collaborate with other teams on projects that involve these technologies.
- Unit Testing: While not mandatory, having knowledge of unit testing principles and practices is beneficial.

- PHP (primary language)
- PostgreSQL/MySQL
- HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, AJAX
- jQuery, Bootstrap (great to have)
- XML, JSON, RESTful APIs
- Laravel, Symphony (nice to have)
- Object-Oriented Programming
- Linux shell commands
- Git version control
- Perl, Python (nice to have)
- Spark and Redis (nice to have)

Work Details
- Shift: Monday to Friday: 6:00am- 3:00pm or 7:00am- 4:00pm PH Time; depending on business needs
- Location: Makati | *Work from Home Until Further Notice
