Client: Software development company that specializes in the financial software arena specifically for the agricultural sector.

About the Role

  • The person must build instant customer rapport via excellent written and verbal communication skills when delivering product demonstrations and converting leads into sales (software, training, and consulting).
  • The Commercial Officer must promptly complete all Sales and BAU tasks, with excellent attention to detail and minimal errors.
  • This role works alongside the Customer Success and Marketing Team, providing metrics and customer insights.

Key Responsibilities

Sales:

  • Confidently make outbound cold calls and follow-up prospects provided by all mediums (Marketing, CS Team, Goldmine, Professional Partners), convert them to sales, and warm transfer onboarding to CS.
  • Manage incoming sales calls, emails and live chat.
  • Consistently be proactive, collaborative, and creative when generating sales prospects.
  • Ensure Sales & Marketing campaigns and initiatives are delivered.
  • Deliver high-level product demonstrations and presentations to convert sales.
  • Support the Sales and Success General Manager in increasing sales referrals from Professional Partners.
  • Manage the Professional Partner subscription renewals process in CRM & Zendesk
  • Manage Professional Partners via outbound calls and Zendesk tickets, updating CRM accordingly.
  • Manage the Sponsorship subscription renewal process via outbound calls and helpdesk tickets. Update the Confluence Pages and CRM accordingly.
  • Contact overdue Customer subscriptions.
  • Contact overdue Professional Partners subscriptions.
  • Meet weekly KPIs and check in Perdoo.
  • Develop a deep working knowledge of our product to engage customers and sell effectively.
  • Actively invest time upskilling in identified personal knowledge gaps required to perform the role successfully. 

Outcomes:

  • Call customers who are only using Quick Budgets and offer consults for Full Budget training
  • Contact customers who have not closed their cashbook in over a month and offer them bookkeeping or training.
  • Contact payroll customers to offer webinars, consulting & Training.
  • Create a list of customers that would like training & consulting and pass them over to CSS.

Data Entry:

  • Once the Finance Team provides the subscription renewal data daily, accurately attend to the data entry task in CRM first thing each morning.
  • For Professional Partners, follow the daily payment process as documented.
  • For Customers, follow the daily payment process as documented.
  • Follow the overdue process for Customers and Professional Partners.
  • Process all sales promptly, ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Take ownership of individual sales figures whilst working toward team outcomes.
  • Respond proactively to the Finance Team in the EFT Teams Channel if Finance have highlighted data errors or customer queries.

Outcomes:

  • Excellent data entry accuracy
  • Minimal data entry errors as identified by the Finance Team or the Sales and Success General Manager.

Customer Onboarding:

  • As documented in Confluence, warm transfer of all new Customer and Professional Partner sales and consulting leads to Customer Success for onboarding.
  • As instructed by the Customer Success Team, call Customers and Professional Partners for user engagement on sales queries. Report any metrics and customer insights to CSS. 

Outcomes:

  • Build rapport with trial and new customers before warm transferring them to Customer Success for their onboarding consult.

Requirements

  • Previous experience making sales cold calls.
  • Proven Sales ability and ability to close sales.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with many competing demands and challenges.
  • Proof of excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience as a problem solver with the ability to challenge business processes.
  • Exposure to finance, accounts, bookkeeping, and/or accounting systems is desirable.

Work Details

  • Shift: Monday to Friday: 6:00am- 3:00pm or 7:00am- 4:00pm PH Time; depending on business needs
  • Location: Makati | *Work from Home Until Further Notice
  • Status: Full time employment
