More than 100 developers and enthusiasts joined the first-ever Flexisource IT’s ReactJS Meetup 2019. The pilot session of the upcoming events for IT professionals and developers instilled new learnings about the latest tools and innovation involving ReactJS.
Flexisource IT, together with its community partners ReactJS Philippines Facebook Group and ReactJS Meetup Group, and its sponsor Pearl Pay prepared an insightful night filled with talks and connections.
Franrey Saycon, a co-founder of ReactJS Philippines Facebook Group, talked about the integration of JavaScript, APIs, and pre-rendered Markup, also known as JAMstack along with how and why it was created.
Another speaker, Toni Estabillo, discussed the benefits of using Expo Toolchain in building mobile applications on both Android and iOS. She created an open source app to demonstrate how Expo can be used even by beginners and enthusiasts.
ReactJS Meetup 2019 is only the beginning of the enrichment and knowledge-sharing efforts of Flexisource IT. After its company-wide knowledge-sharing program Brown Bag Sessions, Flexisource IT is geared to cultivate a strong community of developers in the Philippines through sharing knowledge and establishing connections.
“The Philippines is a great place to grow IT and create innovation, creativity, and products. I think this is a country that is ready to boom and has the opportunity to grow startups and build technology,” said Founder and CEO Richard Gross.
The speakers, developers, and enthusiasts networked with their fellow participants over free-flowing coffee, donuts, and beer.
Flexisource IT’s ReactJS Meetup 2019 was held at its main office at 26th Flr. Trafalgar Plaza, H.V. Dela Costa, Makati City.
