Traveling to Australia is a remarkable experience filled with fun, discovery, and unforgettable experiences. As part of Flexisource IT’s commitment to building a stronger team and fostering client relationships, we give our employees a chance to travel to Australia.
We want our employees to meet their colleagues, counterparts, and clients face-to-face in order to build meaningful connections and strengthen collaborative efforts. This approach not only enhances teamwork but also provides a firsthand understanding of the Australian work culture and client expectations.
In this article, we feature Denzel Co, a valued team member at Flexisource IT, as he shares his journey and experiences during his visit to Australia.

TogglePre-flight Preparation
Denzel was first informed about the trip through their office chat. The preparation phase went smoothly, thanks to the outstanding support from both Flexisource IT and the client. Our COO, Missy, played a vital role in ensuring that everything was in order.
Throughout the preparation, she assisted Denzel and the team with their visas, documentation, and requirements. She also conducted an orientation, where she provided helpful tips on traveling to Australia.
A Memorable Australian Experience
Denzel landed at Melbourne Airport (MEL) on November 10 after departing the Philippines on November 9. Upon arrival, he and other international team members shared a welcoming lunch with the client’s CEO. This warm start set the tone for the rest of the trip.
Thereafter, they went to visit Phillip Island, home to the Little Penguins, unique wildlife, captivating coastlines, and idyllic beaches. Exploring this picturesque destination allowed the team to bond while taking in the beauty of Australia.
However, the real highlight for him was meeting his colleagues in person. Meeting the clients in person was equally fulfilling for Denzel. After working together virtually for years, face-to-face interaction brought a new level of connection and camaraderie. Seeing everyone’s personalities shine in person was both refreshing and rewarding.
Reflections and Insights
After returning from Australia, he felt a mixture of emotions – slightly tired from the journey but immensely grateful for the experience. The weekend provided much-needed time to rest and reflect on the trip’s significance.
For him, traveling to Australia was not only an opportunity to strengthen professional relationships but also a chance to deepen personal connections with peers and clients. He shared, “It allowed me to get to know my peers a bit better outside of work.”
Lastly, Denzel gave special thanks to our CEO, Richard Gross, whose kindness and generosity made the experience even more fun. He said, “It was great to meet Rich during the trip. I really appreciated his time to tour us around for a night.”
