Modern Slavery Statement 2026

Statement of Richard Gross, Chief Executive Officer at Flexisource IT

Introduction

At Flexisource IT, we remain steadfast in our commitment to integrity, accountability, and respect for human rights. As we enter 2026, our dedication to combating modern slavery and forced labor continues to evolve, reflecting both global standards and local legislation. We believe businesses must be a force for good, and we strive to foster a workplace and supply chain that are inclusive, ethical, and transparent.

Legal and Regulatory Compliance

We comply with Philippine legislation, including:

  • Republic Act No. 9208 – Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003
  • Republic Act No. 10364 – Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2012
  • Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Rules Implementing Articles 106–109 of the Labor Code

Our Commitment to Human Rights

Flexisource IT provides IT consultancy and managed services, outsourcing to the Philippines while serving Australian clients. We uphold a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labor, and human trafficking. Our policies emphasise:

  • Fairness and equal opportunity
  • Compliance with labor rights and ethical standards
  • Transparency in reporting and accountability

This statement was developed in consultation with HR, legal, and compliance teams.

Employment Practices

We ensure all employees:

  • Have the legal right to work under Philippine law
  • Receive fair wages, overtime pay, and government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, maternity/paternity leave)
  • Are recruited under fair, non-discriminatory practices, with clear employment terms and protections against exploitation

Supply Chain Risk Management

We recognise that risks may arise in extended supply chains. To mitigate these risks, we:

  • Conduct due diligence on new vendors and suppliers
  • Require ethical compliance clauses in supplier contracts
  • Reserve the right to terminate relationships with suppliers found violating labor rights
  • Strengthen monitoring of offshore and subcontracted operations

Training, Awareness, and Advocacy

Flexisource IT continues to build awareness through:

  • Mandatory training on labor rights, ethical business practices, and anti-slavery principles
  • Confidential grievance channels for employees to report concerns
  • Annual reviews of supplier compliance and employee feedback mechanisms

In 2026, we are expanding training to include scenario-based digital learning modules to help employees identify risks more effectively.

Measuring Effectiveness

We track progress through employee training completion rates, supplier audits and compliance checks, HR grievance reports and resolution timelines, and board-level reviews of modern slavery risks and mitigation strategies.

Looking Ahead – 2026 Goals

For 2026, Flexisource IT will:

  • Enhance supplier guidelines with stricter compliance requirements
  • Maintain and strengthen monitoring of offshore and subcontracted operations.
  • Expand employee training programs with measurable outcomes
