Social networks are the new norm and traditional marketing is failing in today's digital, always-on culture. Businesses across the world are having to face up to how they remain relevant in the choppy waters of the digital ocean. In an era where a YouTube star gets more daily impressions than Nike, Coca-Cola and Walmart combined, traditional marketing as we know it is dead.
The End of Marketing revolutionizes the way brands, agencies and marketers should approach marketing. From how Donald Trump won the American presidency using social media and why Kim Kardashian is one of the world's biggest online brands, through to the impact of bots and automation, this book will teach you about new features and emerging platforms that will engage customers and employees. Discover bold content ideas, hear from some of the world's largest brands and content creators and find out how to build smarter paid-strategies, guaranteed to help you dominate your markets.
The End of Marketing explains that no matter how easy it is to reach potential customers, the key relationship between brand and consumer still needs the human touch. Learn how to put 'social' back into social media and claim brand relevancy in a world where algorithms dominate, organic reach is dwindling and consumers don't want to be sold to, they want to be engaged.

One of the most compelling aspects of this book is its focus on humanizing brands and fostering genuine connections with consumers. Carlos emphasizes the importance of authenticity and relatability in today's marketing landscape and provides readers with actionable tips and strategies to achieve this. The book is filled with real-world examples, case studies, and interviews with industry experts, which not only make it engaging but also highly informative.
What I especially appreciated about "The End of Marketing" is that it doesn't shy away from discussing the potential pitfalls of relying too heavily on traditional marketing techniques. Instead, it encourages readers to embrace the power of social media and emerging technologies to better connect with their target audience. This book offers a clear roadmap for businesses and marketers to build more meaningful relationships with their customers, and in turn, drive long-term success.
Carlos Gil's writing style is approachable and easy to understand, making it accessible to both seasoned marketing professionals and newcomers alike. His passion for the subject matter shines through on every page, and it's hard not to feel inspired after reading this book.
In conclusion, "The End of Marketing" is an essential read for anyone looking to navigate the complexities of modern marketing and establish a genuine connection with their audience. It will challenge your preconceived notions, inspire you to think outside the box, and ultimately equip you with the tools and knowledge to thrive in this digital era. Don't miss out on this game-changing book!
The reason I picked up this book in the first place is because I honestly want to learn about marketing. I’ve really never studied or put much attention into marketing and honestly I don’t know how to successfully attack it.
The End of Marketing was a really good book, I loved how easy it was to read and understand. Carlos does an amazing job of breaking down examples of how to better market your brand. The most important nugget I got from this book is that you need to humanize your content. Logos don’t sell or generate interest, people are not interested in being sold too, they want to know that you are human and show interest in them too.
I realized that I was going about social media in the wrong way. Since I picked up this book I started changing the way I create and post content not only for the company, but for my own personal brand.
To those that are on the fence about picking this book up, I say DO IT!!! Read it and start applying the tactics suggested.
Thank you for writing this book Carlos and congratulations on the success you have had thus far.
Best wishes for an even better 2020, and I hope to be able to see you speak next year.

This book has reinvented communications for me. Being in the advertising world for years now, I used to use big industry jargon to clients like “We need to implement a better PPC strategy to crush our KPI’s because the only way we’ll get you a massive ROI is if our A/B Testing bring back a winner!”
Pivot Pivot!!!
It’s gotten so bad I was coming home some nights asking my wife to re-Target cuz we’re out of TP🤦🏾♂️ my marriage was on the rocks, I was on thin ice and I couldn’t A/B test my way out of agency jargon that was ruining my marriage.
I needed HELP! I needed to End this Marketing lifestyle I’ve slowly adopted. Fighting over name brand laundry detergent & the organic brand because the Return of Investment didn’t add up! My click-through rates on Amazon was through the roof trying to search for strategic & tactical solutions to communicate to my wife that my deliverables can be validated.
I knew the exact moment I needed help. One night, while we were in bed, my wife wanted to show me a YouTube video, so she screen shared it to our Apple TV and I cracked! “NATIVE! The quality is always better NATIVE!” In that moment, I got the impressions that it’s the End Of Marketing for me if I want to save my marriage.
I quickly jumped on Amazon...
Thoughts rushing 1,000 miles per second. All I could think to type was END MARKETING.
Lo and behold on the very first page... End of Marketing by Carlos Gil on that PRIME GRIND.
I immediately read the book and realized how wrong I was.
I quickly rid my old strategies of marketing and humanized my brand!
I started speaking to my wife like a NORMAL human being and life could not be any better!
Carlos saved my brand and my marriage! In the Wild West of marketing, Carlos is a real OUTLAW.
Appreciate this book. My whole team is reading it and after sharing my story with friends my affiliate link clicks have been through the roof🙌🏾

Many books are not tackling the central issue for brands right now; which is how to talk and behave in front of consumers and prospects that are increasingly looking to social media for enjoyment rather than to be overtly sold to. Brands are still not getting this as any quick search will show you. Engagement and implementing a humanisation strategy should not be ignored and longer. The book takes longer to read than most because you have to continually make notes about what changes you need to make to your brand. Great read and looking forward to more content from Carlos Gil.
Relevant to all levels of marketing and brand professional.
