About the Role:
Be part of an Australian software company that develop and sell software to cabinetmakers, kitchen designers and kitchen manufacturers Australia-wide. This role will be a part of the in-house Development Team that develops and maintains B2B and B2C solutions of the client.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new features & major improvements to client
- Support client’s front-end team by helping build a sensible and performant API backend
- Maintain clients software including day-to-day bug fixing and working with our support team to resolve client issues
- Contribute to meetings, discussing new ideas and technology, and helping us build better processes and move our software and organization forward
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of software development experience
- Extensive PHP (OOP) and Symfony experience
- Good MySQL/MariaDB knowledge
- Strong JavaScript and jQuery skills
- Experience in Version control (Git) and LAMP environment
- Exposure to PHP MVC frameworks
- Quality engineering standards, with a passion for quality code
- With keen attention to details
- Must be a Team player
- An expert communicator & great with documentation
- Someone who can juggle projects and competing priorities
