developed a cloud-based data and analytics platform for local energy production and consumption. Unlike
standard monitoring, Our client analyses energy generation, local weather conditions and on-site energy
consumption data to provide real-time insights and accurate alerts into PV system performance and energy
use. Unique among solar monitoring providers, we maximize the value customers receive from their solar
systems.

Our team of over 30 staff in Australia now delivers solar monitoring and smart analytics to over 24,000
customers across Australia, NZ and the US.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced front-end developer to join our growing software development team.

This is a dynamic role with wide-ranging tasks in a rapidly changing and growing space. You will work with
small, cross functional teams in an agile and highly iterative environment where creativity is the most valued
skill. You will work with data scientists, designers and engineers to rapidly develop and implement new
product features to create a truly customer centric user experience.

Candidate Requirements:

You will need to have completed tertiary qualification in software engineering or equivalent and satisfy the
following:

  • Be inspired, innovative, curious and passionate about your work;
  • Have at least 5+ years’ experience working in front-end development;
  • Demonstrate a high level of web development skills and proficiency in web technologies;
  • Able to work in a flexible and dynamic environment where online meetings and WFH is a norm;
  • Working with the UI/UX designer and cross functional development team to deliver features.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality, readable, well-tested code followed by best practices at all times.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies (2-week cycles).
  • Perform code reviews and submit pull requests.
  • Gather technical requirements, collaborate with team members to scope the work, manage
    documentation required.
  • Write automated tests (no dedicated QA in the team).
  • Deploy and monitor your own work (no DevOps in the team). CI/CD pipelines are in place.
  • Identify and lead improvements in existing and new services.

WORK DETAILS:

  • Location – Work from home until further notice
  • Schedule – Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm
  • Status – Regular employment
