Maximizing the network performance is also part of a network engineer’s responsibilities. The company network should always run fast and smooth for everyone using it. They can tweak the configurations, implement quality of service settings, or ultimately recommend a better hardware setup for the network itself.
Offshore network engineers should always be online since they need to be able to provide support at any time during their shift. Some take the graveyard shift so that the network remains secure and optimal even if most of the employees are done for the day.
Remote troubleshooting is also a regular task for outsourced network engineers. They should be able to replicate any problems that may be reported to them by the company’s employees and internal teams.
